Mentoring

Stony Brook WISE program

2018–2021 · four years

For four years, I served as a mentor in the Stony Brook WISE program. Each year, across two semesters, I designed and taught a 10-part hands-on course in which students built cosmic-ray detectors, took measurements, and carried out data analysis, including a measurement of the muon lifetime.

Undergraduate detector projects

2017–2020

Supervision and co-supervision of undergraduate projects on the sPHENIX prototype TPC and Gas Electron Multiplier design.

Graduate research mentoring

PHENIX

Mentoring of graduate-student analyses in direct-photon measurements in small collision systems.
